A new £12 million community care project on the site of Herefordshire Council’s former headquarters is nearing completion creating 120 new jobs.
Dormy Care Communities is due to open its luxury 70-bed care home – Brockington House – off Hafod Road in Hereford in May.
The stunning home will offer residential, nursing and dementia care, featuring a range of exceptional services for residents to enjoy including a bar, cinema, café, gym, activities lounge and a varied menu from fine dining to lighter bites created by the home’s very own chef.
“We were delighted that the Canon Chancellor Christopher Pullin from the magnificent Hereford Cathedral came along to officially open our information centre,” said Dormy Care CEO Helen Davies-Parsons.
“We are thrilled to be able to work together to support the community of Hereford. The Cathedral offer regular dementia-friendly services and are thrilled that we will be able to offer more premium services locally.”
