West Mercia Search & Rescue is an entirely volunteer, registered charity, supporting police and emergency services across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire in the search for vulnerable, high risk missing people. We are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
To help raise vital funds to help us remain operational we are undertaking an endurance challenge like no other. On Saturday 3rd October we will be climbing the 3 highest peaks in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire and cycling the distance in between. In total more than 100 miles of travelling with over 10,000 feet of elevation.
Starting in Herefordshire and ending in Shropshire, challengers will:
• Climb Black Mountain in Herefordshire
• Cycle to the Malvern Hills
• Climb Worcester Beacon
• Ride on towards Shropshire
• Climb Brown Clee Hill
We are aiming to raise £5157 which represents the incredible volunteer deployment hours we achieved last year.
