Yeleni Therapy & Support is a Herefordshire, independent cancer charity who offer a tailor made programme of free complementary therapies and ongoing support via self help groups and classes, to anyone with any form of cancer, at any age and at any stage. In 2016 we were awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and in 2018 we received the Macmillan Quality Environment Award meaning that we are a nationally recognised centre of cancer care excellence.
We are supported by grants, legacies, sponsorships and donations from our local community. As we are here for everyone, some funding is generated by therapists paying room rent for their private clients.
This year we are delighted to welcome The Dowager Countess of Darnley as our patron. Upon accepting she said, ” Nicky Heath and her dedicated team of therapists bring comfort and renewed strength for people dealing with the enormous challenges of cancer; the care and support that they give is simply outstanding, and it is a privilege for me to become their Patron.”
