WLZ Tutors has embarked on an exciting new chapter with the launch of its Worcester centre at The Triangle.
In October 2025, WLZ Tutors said a fond farewell to its previous Worcester setting, which provided a warm and welcoming space for learners for many years. The organisation has now settled into its new, purpose-designed centre and is embracing the opportunities it brings.
“The Triangle gives us the space and facilities to grow sustainably, strengthen our wellbeing provision, and continue supporting young people in the way they truly need.”
– Natasha Stolt
The Triangle offers significantly more space, excellent on-site parking, and enhanced facilities – all carefully selected to support both learners and the growing WLZ team.
This move reflects WLZ Tutors’ ongoing commitment to creating environments where children and young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to flourish – academically, emotionally, and socially. Every detail, from classroom layouts to communal areas, has been designed with student experience in mind, ensuring that each young person who enters the centre feels confident, valued, and ready to thrive.
Designed with Learners in Mind
Recognising that change can feel daunting, particularly for children navigating challenges such as confidence, anxiety, or emotional regulation, WLZ Tutors handles transitions with care. Families are encouraged to make contact in advance so that each child feels secure, supported, and confident as they settle into the new centre.
Since opening, WLZ Tutors has welcomed more learners, families and partners to experience the centre’s facilities first-hand.
Putting Mental Health and Wellbeing First
The move to The Triangle represents more than a change of space – it marks a significant step forward in WLZ Group’s commitment to student wellbeing. WLZ is now officially a Thrive setting across all provisions, embedding a trauma-informed, evidence-based framework into daily practice.
The Thrive Approach, grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory, and child development, equips staff with practical tools to support children’s emotional wellbeing. It helps learners build resilience, regulate emotions, and feel safe – essential foundations for effective learning.
WLZ Tutors believes that academic success cannot happen in isolation; children learn best when they feel understood, valued, and secure.
Resilience in Action
At Wise Owl, one of WLZ Group’s settings, the Thrive Approach is already transforming learning experiences. Students regularly engage in activities designed to develop resilience, problem-solving skills, and perseverance.
A recent challenge tasked a student with constructing a model using only spaghetti and marshmallows, encouraging patience, creativity, and learning through trial and error.
Claire, the Wise Owl Tuition manager, notes:
“Watching the student adapt strategies, learn from mistakes, and try again perfectly illustrates the Thrive Approach – turning frustration into confidence and growth.”
Supporting the Whole Child
WLZ Tutors’ wellbeing strategy is built on a simple principle: children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and emotionally secure. Through the Thrive Approach, the organisation focuses on:
- Trauma-informed care: recognising behaviour as communication
- Targeted emotional support: identifying and addressing developmental gaps
- Holistic growth: balancing academic achievement with confidence and self-esteem
By embedding these principles into daily practice, WLZ Tutors ensures students are not only prepared for exams but also equipped with the emotional and social skills needed for life beyond the classroom.
Looking Ahead
The opening of the new Worcester centre and the expansion of our Kiddieminster centre marks an exciting milestone for WLZ Tutors. With expanded facilities, a strong wellbeing framework, and a clear vision for the future, WLZ is proud to continue supporting children and young people to learn, grow, and thrive.
