Ballards LLP has appointed Tim Lynch as Private Client Tax Partner, strengthening its senior advisory capability as part of the firm’s long term growth strategy across Worcestershire and Birmingham.

The appointment reflects Ballards’ continued investment in specialist, partner led services at a time when private client tax matters are becoming increasingly complex and closely connected to wider financial planning, succession and business interests.

Tim joins Ballards with 25 years’ experience in professional practice, having spent 19 years at a UK top 10 firm. A Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Certified Accountant, he specialises in private client tax advisory and compliance for individuals, families, trusts and complex ownership structures.

His appointment reinforces Ballards’ partner led model and its collaborative approach with IFAs, banks and solicitors to deliver joined up advice for clients.

Ballards has grown steadily over the past fifteen years into a multidisciplinary advisory and consultancy group, with more than 150 people across offices in Worcester, Droitwich and Birmingham’s Colmore Row. The firm has prioritised sustainable growth, independence and culture over rapid consolidation.

Tim Lynch said:
“I am delighted to be joining Ballards at this really exciting time for the firm. Our values are aligned in being agile and in building deep relationships with clients, enabling us to deliver proactive and tailored advice that truly meets their objectives. The firm already delivers real expertise and I am very much looking forward to working with my colleagues, partners and clients across Birmingham, Droitwich and Worcester.”

Commenting on the appointment, Martin Adams, Tax Partner at Ballards LLP, said:
