As part of its 45th anniversary year, creative communications group DRPG has completed its 45th CSR project, marking a continued commitment to social impact beyond its core business. The milestone was marked this weekend with a Christmas celebration for Worcestershire families supported by the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, hosted at DRPG’s Hartlebury headquarters.
DRPG’s Studio 212 was transformed into an immersive après-ski–inspired winter setting, designed and built by the DRPG team, featuring snowy landscapes, alpine details and interactive winter-themed zones for children and their families.
Following DRPG’s own employees’ children’s Christmas party, the studio reopened on Sunday 14 December to welcome more than 100 young patients and their families. The day included live entertainment, interactive winter games, real reindeer and a visit to Santa’s mountain grotto, where every child received a personalised gift.
Sarah Tarry, Family Support Manager for Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust commented, “This day is all about bringing the families together. They absolutely love it and it really does help the children forget about everything they are going through and have some fun.”
DRPG team members volunteered throughout the event, delivering the experience while keeping sustainability at the heart of the production. Scenic elements and materials were repurposed from previous projects, reflecting DRPG’s long-standing commitment to reducing environmental impact across its operations.
Dale Parmenter, CEO of DRPG, said, “This year’s après-ski theme brought a heart-warming sense of adventure and togetherness to a community that means so much to us. Our partnership with Grace Kelly has grown over many years, and every time we collaborate, we’re committed to creating something truly special.”
“What makes this event even more meaningful is that it marks our 45th CSR project, which we committed to achieve in our 45th year, a milestone we’re incredibly proud to celebrate. From major initiatives like the Source to Sea challenge completed by myself and the marketing team, to colleagues across the business taking part in Races for Life, to our Stage and Scenic team supporting the regeneration of a local bike park and our ongoing food bank donation drives, each project reflects our belief that great experiences should create lasting, positive impact. Ending the year with this celebration is the perfect reminder of why we do what we do.”
