ISO Quality Services (ISO QSL) is delighted to announce the return of their Good Egg Awards for the eighth consecutive year. Originally launched in 2018, this annual initiative has become a cornerstone of the organisation’s commitment to recognising excellence among employees and clients.
Research highlights the crucial role of appreciation in employee retention, with 79% of individuals who leave their jobs citing a lack of recognition as a key factor. Conversely, employees who feel valued are five times more likely to remain with their organisation. These statistics show the profound impact of acknowledgment, not only in validating employees’ contributions but also in fostering a sense of accomplishment and job satisfaction.
Recognising someone for their hard work doesn’t need to come at a high cost, a simple ‘thank you’ can make a significant difference. The Good Egg Awards provide businesses a platform to celebrate their outstanding employees and clients by nominating them for one of this year’s five categories:
- Environmental Egg – recognising individuals who champion sustainability, recycling, and environmental awareness within their organisation
- Deliver Egg – celebrating those who consistently go above and beyond to achieve their goals and deliver outstanding results
- Passion Egg – honouring individuals who bring enthusiasm, positivity, and energy to their work
- Support Egg – acknowledging those who offer support, guidance, and an open, welcoming attitude
- Quality Egg – recognising those committed to continuous improvement, attention to details, and problem solving
In addition to recognising excellence, this initiative contributes to a meaningful cause. For every nomination received, the ISO consultants will donate an Easter Egg to Worcester Foodbank. Last year’s campaign received an overwhelming response, resulting in the donation of over 160 chocolate eggs

The deadline for entries is 12pm on Tuesday, 1st April 2024. Winners will be announced at the Good Egg Awards Ceremony on Thursday, 3rd April at 2pm, where both nominees and nominators will be invited to celebrate the achievements of this year’s outstanding ‘Good Eggs’.
