This course follows on from the Customs Procedures and Documentation course or can be provided standalone for those who are only interested in importing procedures.

We recommend this course for those who are familiar with or currently work in an import environment but have never had any formal training and those with experience wanting a refresher.

It provides an overview of the import process from start to finish and reviews all topics required for new and existing suppliers, including country and supplier risk, payment risk and more. We also explain documentation requirements and how to ensure goods are imported successfully to include duty payments and include an overview of the available Special Procedures.

BCC Foundation Award
We offer a BCC Foundation Award for those who wish to gain a qualification through training. The award is given after 6 credits have been attained. If a delegate wishes to gain credits from attending a course they will be given assessment papers after each course they attend.

This course accounts to 1 Credit of the Award.
