The recruitment for a new Midlands Connect Chair is now live.
As we approach our 10th anniversary in 2024, we know that Midlands Connect is recognised as a cohesive organisation and partnership that brings together a collective and unified voice for the region. Throughout this period, Sir John Peace has Chaired the board of Midlands Connect, and of course Midlands Engine, under whose stewardship the organisation has gone from strength-to-strength, making a positive impact on the economy, communities and people of the Midlands. It is with the news that Sir John’s successful tenure as Chair is coming to an end in March 2025, that we acknowledge his significant contribution to our organisation, and the lasting impact he has made.
This also brings an opportunity for a new Chair who will lead us through the next phase of our journey. With a new government and many exciting opportunities, Midlands Connect is setting its direction for the next decade.
