Worcestershire-based, full-service accountancy and advisory firm, Hayward Wright, has acquired Cannock-based accountancy firm Ansell Munden as part of its ongoing growth and expansion plans.
The acquisition will grow the Hayward Wright team to 33 and increase its footprint across the West Midlands including Staffordshire. It will also expand the services it can deliver to both client bases with Ansell Munden bringing new capabilities to Hayward Wright in sectors such as not-for-profit. It will also mean Hayward Wright can provide interim finance director support to clients and see it strengthening its existing recovery and restructuring offering.
All members of staff from Ansell Munden, including its managing director, Paul Moore, will now operate under the Hayward Wight brand with Moore joining the senior leadership team of Hayward Wright.
Alistair Hayward-Wright, managing director at Hayward Wright commented: “We are delighted that the team at Ansell Munden are joining Hayward Wright. Bringing both businesses together under the Hayward Wright brand will bring benefits to clients as we can offer a greater breadth of services and continue to develop our accountancy and advisory offering to SMEs and owner-managed businesses. The acquisition reflects our desire to continue to grow across the Midlands region where we see significant opportunity to offer advisory support to businesses and individuals that go beyond the traditional accountancy firm model.”
Paul Moore, managing director at Ansell Munden added: “It is an exciting time to be joining Hayward Wright and we are delighted to be working with Alistair and his team. Our existing clients will see a significant benefit in both firms coming together as we join a larger, full-service accountancy team, and it will see us offering additional value to those existing clients of Hayward Wright. I have known Alistair and his firm for many years and there has always been a strong alignment in our values and client-centric approach to the work we do so the fit was perfect.”
