Rotherwood Care Homes across Herefordshire to Host Harvest Festival Events & Fundraise for Macmillan
Lynhales Hall, Kington Court, Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford Nursing Homes are excited to announce their upcoming Harvest Festival Celebrations and Macmillan Cancer Support fundraising events on Friday, 27th September. These events promise to be vibrant occasions filled with joy, community spirit, and autumnal activities, while raising funds for Macmillan.
The Herefordshire-based homes offer award-winning Residential and Nursing Care, with Lynhales Hall and Hampton Grange specialising in Dementia Care. Each home is dedicated to enriching the lives of residents and supporting their local communities. With many residents and their families having agricultural backgrounds, the festival holds special significance, reminding us of the hard work it takes to grow crops and the joy of reaping what we sow. This celebration will honour this tradition and help those in need through food bank donations. We welcome you to drop off donations at any of the homes throughout September.
As part of the festivities, all homes will host either a coffee morning or afternoon tea to support Macmillan Cancer Support. Attendees are invited to enjoy delicious cakes, tea, coffee, and good company while contributing to a cause close to many hearts.
Lynhales Hall, Lyonshall: Starting at 11:00am, the event will have a cider-themed twist with cider tasting, followed by a church service and a coffee and cake session for Macmillan.
Kington Court, Kington: The Macmillan coffee morning begins at 10:30am, followed by an afternoon of live entertainment from 2.30pm, with traditional autumnal foods, including warm rolls, hearty parsnip soup, and apple cake.
Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford, Hereford: The celebrations feature afternoon tea and cake along with a church service from 2:00pm, set against harvest-themed decorations.
