On Saturday June 10 Sky Blue Adventures will be leading a very special sponsored walk in order to raise much needed funds for Worcestershire’s local hospitals in the NHS’ 75th birthday year.
The 9 mile walk will take in the beautiful views of end to end Malvern Ridge, starting from North Hill at 8am and ending at Chase End Hill at around 1pm. Our expert guides will lead the route which is classed as moderate to challenging.
The charity are asking walkers to pledge to raise a minimum of £100 as part of Team Worcestershire Acute. This includes your registration fee, transportation back to the starting point and a donation to Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity. Teams are very welcome to take part and work towards a shared fundraising target.
Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity supports the patients, staff and services at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. The aim of the charity is to make the experience less difficult, the environment more comfortable and the working day easier. Support is over and above core NHS funding so no fundraising is used to replace government funding.
