Safeguard Medical raises over £5,000 for Mercia Accident Rescue Service

Last Friday saw a successful return of the Prometheus/Safeguard Medical charity Golf Day in aid of Mercia Accident Rescue Services (MARS).

MARS is a charity that provides emergency support to the West Midlands Ambulance Service. The charity golf day raises vital funds to support specialist doctors and medical practitioners to save lives across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Prometheus and Safeguard Medical are delighted to contribute to such a worthwhile cause.

Held at The Herefordshire Golf Club near the home of Prometheus Medical in Hope-Under-Dinmore, 26 local teams played golf, enjoyed refreshments and music, and learned vital skills at a practical life-saving workshop with Prometheus instructors.

Prometheus is offering more free emergency first aid training to anyone who attended the day as part of their mission to help everyone save a life, and turn bystanders into lifesavers.

Steven Wines, President of Prometheus Medical, said, “sincere thanks to everyone who participated in our charity Golf Day. This annual event offers a significant boost to the MARS charity. With the support from generous local businesses, MARS can continue providing critical life-saving care”.
