The school holidays can be a time of great excitement for many children, but for some, it can be a time of uncertainty and hunger. Charities like Evesham Adventure Playground work hard to provide meals for those in need, with a ‘no questions asked’ policy. This means that no one should feel uncomfortable about asking for help.
Matcon has supported the charity since 2018 and we’re excited to get involved again this year with their Summer Lunch campaign. Through this program, Matcon volunteers will be helping to prepare lunches for children in need.
“We know that many families struggle to make ends meet, and we are proud to help such a fantastic charity with a small part of their work. The biggest reward is to see the smiles on children’s faces when they enjoy a delicious lunch!” said Richard Kenney, Matcon Volunteer.
