On Friday 15 July, golfers geared up for the annual Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Charity Golf Day, in association with AMROS Golf. The event was generously sponsored by Nicklin Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers and mfg Solicitors. This year, the event took place in support of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity with all funds raised going towards their important cause.
All of the teams performed fantastically on the day. Kevin Murrall of Specsavers 2/ and his team were the winners of the team competition with 97 points. Phil Dutton of Worcestershire Ambassadors came in second place with 87 points and Lee Timbrell of Specsavers 1/ came in third place with 85 points. Nearest the Pin was won by James Neale and Lee Timbrell won Nearest the Pin in Two.
This year, the Golf Day supported Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, who work to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use the hospital’s services, offering them the best experience possible. The event raised an amazing £1,145 for the charity.

The Charity Golf Days have been running for 8 years and are a great opportunity for individuals to represent their company, invite valued business connections, and make a difference by supporting local charities. Players of all abilities were welcomed to the Golf Day to get to know other like-minded business professionals and network in a relaxed environment.
