Snip Snip! Local Herefordshire members first haircut since the pandemic to fundraise for The Little Princess Trust

Clare Wichbold, Fundraising Manager at The Courtyard Hereford will be participating in a public haircut to raise funds for fellow Charity Member, The Little Princess Trust. Courtyard Chief Exec Ian Archer has been nominated as Clare’s ‘hairdresser’ and local businesses are invited to support the team at The Courtyard Centre for the Arts Hereford on Tuesday 22nd February at 2pm.

Speaking on her JustGiving page, Clare reveals her last haircut was in January 2020 before the pandemic. “It’s now time to get it cut, but it’s being cut for a special purpose” says Clare. Her grey hair will be dyed brown before being cut off to be used for wig-making at The Little Princess Trust HQ.

The Little Princess Trust charity say about their work: “When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we’ll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won’t stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families”.
