GKCCT Christmas treecycling

Christmas can be a wonderful time of the year, with twinkling lights, tinsel and decorations galore.

But what happens in the New Year when your real Christmas tree has started to shred its needles and is looking very sorry for it’s self.  We know it isn’t good to think about the end of Christmas when it is just about to begin, but why not get organised and think ahead and get your real Christmas tree booked in with the GKCCT team for collection.

For a minimum donation of £5 per tree, the team will come along on the 5th or 6th January (depending on your area) and will save you the hassle by taking your tree to be wood chipped. Not only is this easier for you, rather than having to spend days vacuuming and sweeping up old pine needles but you will also be supporting the environment by having your tree turned into woodchip which is used again in park areas and playgrounds.

The following areas will be covered this year:
Wednesday 5th January:
B60, B61, B96, B97, Barnt Green, Alvechurch, Feckenham and Inkberrow.

Thursday 6th January:
WR1, WR3, WR4, WR5, WR7, WR9, WR10, St John’s Worcester and the villages local to the charity to include: Crowle, Upton Snodsbury, Broughton Hackett, White Ladies Aston and Drakes Broughton.

All you have to do is click on the button below, register your tree then the team will pop along to collect it from you! It really is as simple as that!
