Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce represent the views of our Members to local and national government, ensuring that businesses within the two counties shape government policy. A great benefit of being part of this extensive network of business support is that your views are represented in our Quarterly Economic Reports, which are widely used by HM Treasury, the Bank of England and the Office for Budgetary responsibility to influence policy making.
The data collected from the Quarterly Economic Survey helps to shape government policy and find out how businesses can become more sustainable through implementing greener measures and policies to help the government reach their net zero target.
The UK Market has seen sales increase from the previous quarter, for example in quarter 3 2021, 49% of businesses experienced increased sales, compared to 48% in quarter 2 2021. This increase in sales is due to increased activity within the market which has seen businesses being able to trade independently without any government restrictions, which is leading the UK economic recovery.
The Chamber wants to know how the last three months have impacted your investment plans, sales, orders, and recruitment. By providing this data, we can lobby government and drive change to help support your business during the economic recovery.
