Can You Help Make a Family’s Christmas?

ISO Quality Services are pleased to announce the return of their annual Bingo Box challenge, helping to feed families this Christmas.

The Bingo Box challenge aims to spread the word on the crisis the Foodbank is facing and encourages organisations and individuals to donate items to their local Foodbanks.

In the past five years, the need for foodbanks in the Trussell Trust’s UK network has increased by 128% and last year, they distributed a record breaking 2.5 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis, a 33% increase on the previous year.  Nearly 1 million of these went to children.

Unprecedented pressure on Foodbanks is to be expected over the coming months due to the cuts to Universal Credit, rising energy costs and the end of the furlough scheme. With this in mind, the ISO providers based in Worcester are hoping to break last year’s record-breaking donation of 50 boxes, helping to feed even more families this Christmas.

Managing Director, Jennifer Appleton comments: “We’re reaching out to organisations once again to ask them to complete the Bingo Box challenge and spread the word on the crisis the Foodbank is facing.

Despite the pandemic, the number of organisations who took part last year was quite amazing and this year, with the Foodbanks under even more pressure, we want to do even better”.

How to get involved…

All you need to do is add a couple of extra items to your weekly shop and complete one of the Bingo sheets or, if you want to help even more families, both sheets.  Once you’ve collected all the items, simply donate the box to your local Foodbank by Saturday 27th November.  Alternatively, you can make a cash donation to ISO Quality Services, helping to support the Worcester Foodbank.

Prizes will also be given for ‘First Donation Made’, ‘First Box Completed’ and ‘Best Decorated Box’ so make sure you send the team your photos so they can give you a shoutout on social media too.
