As part of the business community, I think primarily our vision can be narrow (turnover, profit, margin, expenditure, budgets, forecasts) and we have not even thought about ways in which we can help the communities right on our doorsteps – nor how they can help us. Organisations need all kinds of support – services, materials, knowledge, practical help for both short term and long term projects. Yes, they need money but the reality is – it’s not just about the money!
This initiative will help to connect local businesses and the charitable organisations to build on the abundance of goodwill which has abounded during the unprecedented pandemic months. If you are a charity, come along to learn how to reach out and find support locally.
