The Department for Education (DfE) has launched the invitation to tender for the Skills Bootcamps expansion, with the bid deadline of 12 February. DfE started delivering the current Skills Bootcamps trailblazers in September 2020 ranging from cloud computing to rail engineering, originally in Greater Manchester CA and Lancashire, West Midlands CA and Liverpool City Region, and from January also in Derbyshire Nottinghamshire, Heart of the South West and Leeds City Region. They are now looking to expand these Skills Bootcamps to all parts of England.
