Worcestershire County Council has launched their new Here2Help Business programme in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A £3m programme designed to assist local Worcestershire Businesses to recover, adapt, develop and support future resilience as lockdown measures reduce.
The Here2Help Business programme consists of the following projects:
Sustain and Grow grants
Up to £25,000 capital and revenue grant support (50% match funded) to Worcestershire businesses (SME’s).
COVID-19 response grants
A limited number of capital grants up to £100,000 for projects that directly impact in the COVID19 response.
Agriculture and horticulture business grants
A limited number of capital grants up to £10,000 (50% match funded) to support for Worcestershire agricultural and horticultural businesses.
Adapt – business support
COMING SOON
A comprehensive and flexible business support offer to support Worcestershire businesses to respond to and adapt following the COVID-19 pandemic as the full impact of the situation for businesses and the economy emerges.
The programme will provide local businesses with the following support:
- webinars and workshops
- business advice
- business consultancy
Develop – Graduate programme
Grant support up to £10,000 will be available to Worcestershire SME’s to offer a 12 month graduate placement or internship.
The project will aim to improve business productivity and to also increase local employment opportunities.
The grant will cover a one-year period at 50% of the Graduate salary costs up to a maximum of £10,000 with the remaining 50% to be provided by the SME.
