Low carbon energy generation for your business

With substantial grants NOW available to eligible businesses in Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire & Telford, which low carbon or renewable energy generation technology would suit your business and give the best financial return and carbon saving?

The Sustainability Forum is a series of free events aimed at helping businesses draw upon good practice from industry experts and local businesses to help promote sustainable business practices.

Hear from two experienced industry speakers:

Low carbon & renewable energy generation technologies

John Wade is a CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant at Briar Associates with 13 years’ experience advising companies how to reduce carbon emissions and save energy. Prior to this he had extensive experience of implementing projects in the building services industry. He will provide an insight into technologies available such as heat pumps, biomass and combined heat & power, when they are suitable and the economic case.

Solar PV for business

Neil Stott is a Director at award winning solar PV installer Mypower who have designed, project managed and installed over 50,000 panels (13MW+) across more than 280 projects at commercial & industrial sites over the last 10 years. Businesses are now recognising the environmental and commercial benefits of their own solar PV more than ever. Neil will give an overview of generating electricity at a business through solar PV panels, the practicalities and the benefits a system would be expected to deliver.
