Local e Sourced was set up to help local businesses through these difficult times by focusing on a digital, eCommerce angle to help see them through while enhancing their digital presence and reach on Local e Sourced online platform. Designed and developed by local Digital Marketing company, The DM Lab, the platform encourages online shoppers to purchase a range of products from different Herefordshire independent suppliers in one place.
Chris, MD of The DM Lab, said: “The concept of Local e Sourced was dreamt up in 2019, originally penciled in for launch August 2020… then the pandemic hit, so collectively we decided to try and support as many local businesses as possible through these uncertain times, originally designed just for the food and drink sector. We have opened it up, offering suppliers a 3-month free period with no commitment to continue trading”
Local e Sourced is an online marketplace where all our local suppliers can add their products as an additional revenue stream, to sell locally and nationally, keeping their products in front of customers. This means that although shops are closed, we are able to focus on assisting local suppliers with online sales. Encouraging Herefordians to continue enjoying local products while supporting the suppliers and their businesses too.
