A Worcestershire based Design agency has been commissioned by Spanish based multinational RosRoca, to provide a high-quality setting for a new concept vehicle launch in Munich, Germany.

Municipal Vehicle manufacturing organization, RosRoca has revealed a UK designed concept vehicle at IFAT 2014 – the world’s largest municipal industry exhibition, held in Munich every two years. Developed by Midlands-based Dennis Eagle and motor research institute MIRA, the very quiet, all-electric dustcart has independently driven and steered wheels, no chassis, superb visibility and very low CO2. The new revolutionary refuse vehicle is a game-changing innovation in the waste management industry.

Evesham’s Areca Design, was commissioned by Spanish based RosRoca to provide a high-quality setting for the concept vehicle launch – along with a suitable environment for their many international clients to visit and discuss new and ongoing contracts. RosRoca customers travelled from as far afield as Eastern Russia, Malaysia, India and across Europe for their chance to meet their regions RosRoca representatives and senior Directors.

Ramon Roca, President of RosRoca congratulated Mick Hurst, MD of Areca Design on the superb design of the 1,000 square meter exhibition stand and for the smooth running of the hospitality and stand management during the five-day long exhibition in the Messe München International Exhibition Center in Munich.

Mick commented, “The five months of concept, design and thorough preparation leading up to the event meant that the five days of IFAT was reasonably stress-free. Of course there were challenges of multi-languages and international logistics; however the very positive feedback from RosRoca, Dennis Eagle and the other group businesses made the hard work worthwhile.” He continued, “Although we support many clients with their exhibition requirements here in the UK, from simple roller banners to turn-key major exhibition stands, having the opportunity to successfully deliver such a large project overseas will hopefully lead to more international work in the future.”
