Third Self-Employed Income Support Scheme Grant opens today

Applications for the third round of grants through the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) open today (1 December).

For eligible applicants, the grant will provide a maximum of £7,500 to cover up to 80% of your average trading profits.

Previously, the Scheme covered lost earnings of up to 80% in November and 40% in December and January, up to a maximum of £5,160. This was extended as part of the Chancellor’s new business support measures introduced on November 5.

Claims for the third grant must be made on or before 29 January 2021.
