This course is aimed at any business or individual who wishes to better understand the term ‘Net Zero’ and for those with an interest or responsibility within their workplace and/or community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Course Overview
This one-day Net Zero course provides smaller businesses with the knowledge and skills they need, to take action to reduce their carbon emissions and contribute to the mitigation of climate change through thinking differently about energy, water, and waste and understanding the costs of carbon. The participants will then investigate sources, uses, and impacts of current energy, water and waste provisions and explore alternative cost effective, lower carbon solutions.

• The road to lower carbon futures through Net Zero
• Identification, calculation, and reporting of carbon emissions
• The behavioural and structural opportunities and challenges of carbon reduction
• Practical opportunities to reduce carbon emissions
• Carbon reduction plans – how to build and implement carbon reduction plans that also generate cost saving opportunities.
