Education Meets Industry Event

Description

When is the right time to start promoting what you do to young people?

Every day, people pass your business without knowing about the rewarding careers your sector can offer. The young people in local schools today could become your future workforce tomorrow.

Yet for many employers, engaging with schools can feel challenging. Equally, careers leads are often responsible for connecting hundreds of students with local employers and opportunities. There can be many perceived barriers on both sides.

Our Education Meets Industry event brings employers and careers leads together to build relationships, share insights, and explore how schools and businesses can work together to inspire the next generation and better prepare young people for the world of work.

You’ll hear from experts who will share their experiences and practical guidance, as well as a Q&A panel featuring local employers and careers leads from schools across the county. This will provide an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and gain valuable insights into effective employer engagement.

Join us to exchange ideas, make new connections and discover practical ways to engage, with the opportunity to network over a delicious breakfast.

Please note: This event is exclusively for employers and representatives from state-funded secondary schools, including academies, voluntary aided schools, voluntary controlled schools and secondary-age SEND schools. It is not open to colleges, sixth-form colleges, universities, independent schools or independent training providers. Bookings that do not meet these criteria will be removed.
