NMITE’s Herefordshire Skills for the Future team launches Early Career Leadership Programme (ECLP)

The supported development programme is fully funded for Early Careers employees from Herefordshire SMEs

NMITE (New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering) is pleased to announce the launch of our ECLP. The programme will provide employees of local businesses who have either graduated or moved careers within the last 3 years with a series of unique training and development opportunities. It aims to make it easier for small businesses to recruit, retain and develop new staff who are looking to progress their careers.

Aligning with the Herefordshire Skills for the Future project’s aim to increase skills provision in Herefordshire, the ECLP gives local businesses and employees the chance to respectively develop their leaders of tomorrow and kickstart their careers. The training curriculum will unify and train the region’s best graduates and career shifters, equipping them to make a long-lasting impact on local businesses.

The 12-month programme of events constitutes monthly training workshops alongside professional networking events. These activities support professional development and promote key business and professional skills. Thanks to the European Social Fund (ESF), local SMEs can take advantage of this fully funded training package worth £2500.

Applications for local businesses are open. The deadline for our January 2022 intake close on December 3rd.
