The New Model Institute for Technology & Engineering (NMITE) is excited to announce its annual free Military to Business Showcase on Thursday 22nd June, from 10am to 3pm, generously sponsored by Minerva Elite Performance.
For the past four years, NMITE has worked closely with the military and veteran community in Hereford and beyond. Through the development of lifelong learning programmes and collaboration with our partners, we have successfully opened new avenues of employment and skills enhancement veterans, military leavers and their families.
The Military to Business Showcase will:
- Signpost the support available to the veteran community, military leavers, spouses, and children.
- Highlight successful veteran-owned businesses, celebrating their achievements and inspiring others.
- Provide valuable information on pathways within local businesses specifically tailored to the military and veteran community.
- Showcase diverse employment opportunities available.
- Offer pathways to education and skills, empowering attendees to pursue personal and professional growth.
- Create a platform for networking and building meaningful connections.
With over 40companies and businesses participating in the free event, 120 attendees already registered, and informative seminars throughout the day, the event promises to be filled with insights, resources, and opportunities.
The event is hosted by Samantha Lewis, NMITE’s Director of People & Operations, who says, “We are excited to host the annual Military to Business Showcase. The event will be held at the new, award-winning Skylon Campus in Hereford. Free onsite parking is available and refreshments can be purchased throughout the day.
