KEMP Hospice Joins National Campaign to Change Perceptions of Hospice Care

Wyre Forest’s KEMP Hospice is proud to be one of over 140 hospices taking part in the “This is Hospice Care” campaign, a national initiative facilitated by Hospice UK. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the vital role hospices play in communities, and to shift public perceptions of hospice care.

The campaign, launching on Monday 17th February 2025 has already captured hearts and minds through a powerful TV advert based on real life hospice stories. The goal is to encourage people to consider leaving a gift in their Will to support their local hospice, ensuring that these essential services can continue to provide their compassionate and specialist care for future generations.

Caroline Beech, CEO at KEMP Hospice said “We’re thrilled to be part of this important campaign, highlighting the critical work hospices do in our communities. KEMP Hospice has been providing care and support across the Wyre Forest for over 55 years. We never charge for our care, but as a charity we rely on donations to ensure we can continue to be there for people when they need us. This national campaign is a wonderful opportunity for us to join a coalition of hospices across the UK with one simple message. By considering leaving a gift in you Will, you can help hospice care live on for all, for now, forever. This relatively simple act can and will help to continue our vital work for those who need it most, and we will be truly grateful to anyone who can.”
