You Do Better, the Worcestershire marketing agency led by Ruby Edwards, has completed its sixth consecutive year as PR lead for Moreton Show. 2026 brought the show’s broadest media coverage to date and its first television campaign.
The 2026 show drew more than 20,000 visitors and over 200 exhibitors to Moreton-in-Marsh for one of the UK’s largest one-day agricultural shows. Over six years, coverage has extended to specialist print titles such as Horse & Hound and Farmer’s Guardian. Print advertising has made way for digital and the show featured on Shed & Buried in 2025. This year it expanded further, with radio interviews, mentions via Reuters and a Sky AdSmart television campaign that brought the show to local and regional screens for the first time.
Alongside the media work, a targeted leaflet drop to households across the surrounding area ran for the first time. New banners on straw bales around the area gave the show a presence in the weeks before opening. SEO work drove visitor numbers, while email marketing and social media campaigns reached more people than in any previous year.
The role has run through the year and You Do Better have worked alongside the show office and the full and sub-committees, providing media liaison and PR support on the day itself as well as producing analytics the committee uses in its pre- and post-show reporting.
Ruby Edwards said: “Our job is to bring ideas and then be honest about what worked and what didn’t.”
Moreton Show has attracted notable support over the years, including from Jeremy Clarkson, who wrote in The Times: “The Greatest Show on Earth? Most of all, though, I prefer the Moreton-in-Marsh Agricultural and Horse Show.”
You Do Better provide outsourced marketing consultancy to businesses in Worcestershire and Herefordshire, and across the border into Gloucestershire, with a focus on rural and professional services clients. Case studies are at youdobetter.co.uk.
