arrangeMY among first UK travel management companies to achieve new BTA Accreditation

Worcester-based travel and event management company arrangeMY has become one of the first travel management companies in the UK to achieve the new Business Travel Association (BTA) Accreditation Level 1.

The accreditation provides an independent benchmark for travel management companies and assesses businesses across key areas including financial resilience, insurance, data protection, staff training, client service and business continuity.

For arrangeMY, which supports organisations with corporate travel, accommodation, venue sourcing and event management, the accreditation gives clients added assurance that the business meets recognised professional and operational standards.

Gemma Ryder, Director of Bids and Account Management at arrangeMY, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to achieve BTA Accreditation Level 1 and proud to be among the first accredited members.

“For clients, it provides a clear signal that the fundamentals are firmly in place, from data protection and financial resilience through to staff capability, service standards and continuity planning.

“Much of this work happens behind the scenes, but it is vital. Our clients need confidence that their travellers, accommodation programmes and events are being managed by a partner with the right safeguards, expertise and processes in place.”

arrangeMY is headquartered in Worcester and works with public, private and third-sector organisations across the UK. Its services include managed business travel, workforce accommodation, group bookings, venue sourcing and event management.

The company recently began a three-year partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to provide venue sourcing, group accommodation and event support for its national programme of meetings, conferences and large-scale events.

The BTA Accreditation is valid for two years and enables arrangeMY to use the BTA Accredited badge across client proposals, marketing materials and digital communications.

Gemma added:

“The BTA plays an important role in raising standards and giving independent TMCs a stronger voice in the market. This accreditation is a positive step for the whole sector, helping buyers identify partners that can demonstrate professionalism, resilience and quality.”
