Ann Muddiman retires after 33 years at SME Solicitors

Ann Muddiman marked her last day at SME Solicitors on 29 May. Ann began her career in 1979 and has worked at several firms across the West Midlands. She later joined John Stallard & Co. in March 1993 and, after the merger with March & Edwards in 2011, joined the combined team at SME Solicitors.

Ann worked across various fields throughout her legal career and eventually settled in our dispute resolution department, working alongside Guy Salter, David Denovan-Smith and Jack Coleman.
Ann says: “I have worked over many years with such lovely colleagues. I will especially miss especially Guy, David and Jack – every day we manage to have a laugh even when stressful. In my retirement, I am most looking forward to not having to set the alarm clock for 06:30 and the 40-minute commute, especially in bad weather, to and from Herefordshire. I am looking forward to having more ‘me time’ and to do more travelling with my husband, but I shall miss SME terribly.”

Guy Salter, Senior Partner, commented: “I echo the comments about Ann’s dedication and commitment. Ann was an excellent member of staff and someone with whom it was a pleasure to work. She has been a dedicated and committed member of staff, and she will be greatly missed. We all wish her well in her retirement.”

Ann has been an integral part of the firm and the office will truly not be the same without her. We wish her all the best in her retirement!
