Warwickshire & Worcestershire-based HR firm Regent HR has been shortlisted as a Midlands regional finalist for the Rising Star Award at the UK StartUp Awards 2026, one of the UK’s leading competitions for new businesses.
The Rising Star Award recognises startups trading for less than three years that are moving quickly, winning customers, and building the foundations for significant future growth. Regent HR joins a shortlist of the region’s standout emerging businesses, with the winner going on to represent the Midlands at the UK National Finals.
The business was founded to give SMEs across Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and the Cotswolds access to practical, in-person HR support, with flexible terms and without the need for call centres or lengthy contracts that often come with larger providers. Since launching, it has built a growing client base including organisations across sport, hospitality, and professional services.
Rebecca Barnett, HR & Advisory Services Director, said:
“Being recognised as a Midlands regional finalist is something we’re incredibly proud of. Regent HR has grown faster than I ever imagined, and that’s down to the trust our clients place in us and the commitment of our small but brilliant team. We set out to do HR differently, and it’s exciting to see that approach resonate. This nomination feels like a milestone on a much bigger journey, and I’m really looking forward to what the next few years bring.”
The UK StartUp Awards recognise those who have spotted an opportunity and taken the risk to launch something new.
