John Legge our IT trainer of many years has written his first book of his career in computing and business including of course the many years he’s delivered courses on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce.
Although John runs almost entirely just Excel training currently for the Chamber its not his whole career and the book goes through his early days at university studying computing through to programming and big systems conversions, through to the last 25 years in training. Clearly the book is available to purchase through Amazon and any minor royalties go to charity. There are lots of stories of computing in the early days through to his business which is 30 years old in January 2026. He hopes it will interest people of his generation and also those with an interest in technology changes or just John’s life career story.
