Lifesaving charity Arrive Alive becomes charity of the year with Johnsons Coaches for 2023

Established in 1909 family business Johnsons Coaches has become one of the most well respected coach companies within the UK, winning multiple awards for its service and core values. With community and the service at the forefront of their business they have supported a number of charities throughout the years.

Arrive Alive the UK’s only registered charity of its kind dedicated to funding lifesaving voluntary operated 999 vehicles and equipment for community first responder groups supporting the ambulance service. Arrive Alive currently covers the West Midlands including Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Staffordshire.

“We are delighted to support Arrive Alive this year as our Charity of the Year. The current challenges being faced by the NHS and the emergency services, make supporting this charity even more important. Arrive Alive provides vital lifesaving vehicles and equipment for Community First Responder groups who attend life threatening emergencies and help to save lives throughout Warwickshire. Their equipment and vehicles are not funded by the government, NHS or ambulance service, so we will do our best, through the support of our generous customers and staff to raise as much as we can for them in 2023, so that they can continue to expand and develop their valuable and essential services.” – John Johnson Commercial Director at Johnsons Coaches.

An Arrive Alive vehicle can reach a 999 medical emergency in those vital seconds/minutes prior to a road or air ambulance due to being directly based within the heart of the community. All of the vehicles are on the same radio network as a standard road or air ambulance to receive the details of the medical emergency, following a 999 call.

To be partnered with Johnsons Coaches during 2023 is incredible, the news has been very unexpected as Arrive Alive is only a small charity with a mighty mission of saving lives within communities. Upon meeting the Johnsons Coaches team and seeing how enthusiastic they all are about the work Arrive Alive does is wonderful. Arrive Alive can only operate subject to funds being raised as we are reliant on the public to help us to provide lifesaving resources to support communities following a 999 call. The Arrive Alive team look forward to building the partnership with Johnsons Coaches throughout 2023.” – Debbie Roscoe from Arrive Alive.
