BARNETT WADDINGHAM ENCOURAGE INDIVIDUALS TO CAPTURE HAPPINESS

Home / News & Opportunities / Member News

Date: 18/05/2017

According to the popular saying ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’, we’ve launched Picture Happiness to help us find one picture for one word; Eudaimonia.

Penned by Aristotle over 2,300 years ago, Eudaimonia is an ancient Greek philosophy used to define a person's state of happiness, often described as 'human flourishing'.

Can you capture Eudaimonia in a single snapshot?

We’re on a mission to find out what represents happiness in the UK and how this is affected by age, location and lifestyle - and this is where you come in...

We’re challenging you to put your photography skills to the test, and capture your happiness in one photo (whether it’s a person, an object, an activity or something completely different) to enter our competition.

We’re aiming high with this competition and hope to receive as many entries as possible. To help us reach our goal, we’re encouraging you to get your friends and family involved too. Please share the Picture Happiness website with them to find out more – they’re eligible to win £500!

The competition closes on Friday 30 June 2017 at 5pm (GMT).
