Sara Matthews has joined St Richard’s Hospice as Business Development Manager.
Responsible for business development and income generation at the Worcestershire-based hospice, Sara previously led the charity’s hugely successful Worcester Stands Tall campaign in 2018 which brought majestic giraffe statues to the city.
Sara will also lead the hospice’s second public art trail, Worcester’s Big Parade, in summer 2021 which will see a herd of colourful elephants line the city’s streets and open spaces for eight weeks.
Tricia Cavell, Fundraising Director for St Richard’s Hospice, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Sara back into the team. It’s a challenging time for charities like us, with fundraising events cancelled and charity shops only just reopening, but we know Sara has the passion and enthusiasm to help drive our income generation strategy forward.”
