At our last meeting of the WHSG on the 13th March 2024, at Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Centre, we had the pleasure of Richard and Tim Prestage of Tim Prestage Ltd., who delivered an interesting and comprehensive presentation on conducting a Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR) Assessment, it is so surprising how many industries are covered by these Regulations, and the ramifications of not doing things correctly!!
The Worcestershire Health and Safety Group is a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and was formed to promote higher standards of health and safety within industry, commerce, healthcare, education and other places of employment. Membership is open to any company, organisation, or individual on an annual basis and there are no joining fees!!
Company/ Organisation membership is £50 per year (entitling up to 3 persons to attend each monthly meeting) with individual / single membership at £25 per year.
Attendance at these meetings could contribute to members CPD as required by professional associations!!
