Amy Pattison joined Hewett Recruitment last year to lead the Contract Recruitment offering across IT and Engineering, bringing a fresh and highly experienced perspective to this growing area of the business.
While contract recruitment has not historically been a core part of Hewett’s service offering, it has become increasingly relevant to clients facing project-based demands, urgent skills gaps, and short-term resource requirements. Expanding into this space is a natural progression, building on the success of the Industrial and Office Temp divisions while providing a more tailored solution for Limited Company contractors and specialist roles.
Since joining, Amy has played a key role in developing this capability in a way that aligns with Hewett’s approach, focusing on quality, partnership, and simplicity. With over a decade of experience in contract recruitment, she brings both technical expertise and a consultative mindset, ensuring clients and contractors receive the right level of support throughout the process.
Amy works closely with businesses to source experienced, pre-qualified contractors efficiently, while also offering valuable guidance around IR35 and contract structuring. She also oversees onboarding, compliance, and ongoing contractor engagement, helping to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.
Her specialism spans a wide range of IT and Engineering roles, including software development, cyber security, data and cloud, digital transformation, as well as engineering disciplines such as quality assurance and automation.
