Search is on for Thursfields’ charity of the year

A charity is to be chosen to receive focused fundraising, awareness and volunteer support from Thursfields Solicitors for the 2023-24 year.

The leading Midlands law firm’s new charity of the year application window has now opened, and entries will be accepted for consideration from now until 24 March 2023.

The successful charity will then become Thursfields’ chosen good cause from 1 May 2023 to 30 April 2024.

Dani James, who has recently been promoted to Thursfields’ business development and marketing partner, implemented the scheme a couple of years ago, to enable better management and execution of the firm’s support to the charity.

Ms James said: “We are keen to support a charity, to help them make even more of a difference to those who are in greatest need.

“Our team across Thursfields’ offices will strive to raise as much funds as possible for the charity, providing volunteers to help on projects and raising awareness of the important role the charity plays.

“We have run our application process for a couple of years and following its success have decided to continue this to enable our team to choose who we support. We have a committed Charity Support team to manage relations and ensure we utilise opportunities to support our chosen charity.

“To elevate our impact, we have decided to focus on one charity who will benefit for the next 12 months from this May.”

Charities need to explain in no more than 500 words why they should be considered on an application form that can be found at https://thursfields.co.uk/charity-of-the-year-applications/.
