Local Businesses Raise Over £3,000 for Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust

Worcester-based accountancy firm Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment have joined forces in an impressive fundraising campaign, raising over £3,000 to date for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust. Through a series of challenging and creative events, employees from both companies have demonstrated their commitment to supporting this vital cause.

Most recently, the two businesses hosted a Charity Quiz Night at Bennetts Willow Barn, which proved to be both a fun-filled evening and a successful fundraiser. This event followed earlier, more adventurous challenges undertaken by dedicated employees.

Earlier in the year, a group of intrepid staff members from Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment conquered the formidable Three Peaks Challenge, pushing their physical limits to raise funds for the trust. In another display of courage and commitment, one employee took to the skies for a thrilling charity skydive, literally going above and beyond for the cause.

Ben Allman, Partner at Ballards LLP:

“At Ballards LLP, we believe in making a positive impact in our community. Our partnership with Four Squared in support of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust has allowed us to do just that. I’m incredibly proud of our team’s commitment – whether it was scaling mountains or hosting events like our recent quiz night. Raising over £3,000 is a testament to what we can achieve when we work together for a worthy cause. We’re not stopping here; we’re excited to continue our fundraising efforts throughout the year.”

Emma Richardson, Managing Director at Four Squared Recruitment, added: “We’re thrilled to have raised over £3,000 so far for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by our team and our partners at have been truly inspiring. From conquering the Three Peaks to jumping out of planes, our employees have gone above and beyond to support this crucial cause. The recent quiz night was a fantastic way to bring our community together and continue this important fundraising effort.”

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust was founded in memory of Grace Elizabeth Kelly, who passed away in 2014, leaving behind a wish to help other children. Grace’s wish has inspired and shaped the work that the Trust carries out today. The organisation funds research into rare childhood cancers, works towards earlier diagnosis of children with cancer, and provides support to families at all stages of their journey.

The ongoing partnership between Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment in support of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust showcases the power of local businesses coming together for a common cause. Their combined efforts not only raise crucial funds but also increase awareness of childhood cancer and the important work carried out by the trust.

As the year progresses, both companies plan to continue their fundraising efforts, with more events in the pipeline. Their dedication serves as an inspiring example of how businesses can make a significant impact in their local communities and support those in need.
