Hillscourt Hotel & Conference Centre Achieves Gold Neuroinclusive Venue Accreditation

Hillscourt Hotel & Conference Centre is proud to announce that it has achieved Gold Accreditation as a Neuroinclusive Venue through Welcome Brain, recognising its commitment to creating accessible, welcoming and inclusive experiences for all guests and delegates.

The accreditation places Hillscourt among a growing number of venues leading the way in neuroinclusive hospitality and events. With an estimated 15–20% of the population being neurodivergent, the initiative aims to ensure conferences, meetings and events can be attended with greater comfort, confidence and accessibility.

Working in partnership with Welcome Brain, Hillscourt has introduced a range of practical measures to reduce anxiety and support delegates who may experience environments differently. These include dedicated quiet spaces, low-stimulation dining areas, flexible seating options, easy-exit signage and comprehensive staff training in neuroinclusive hospitality practices.

Conference Centre Manager Tammy Clinton said: “Achieving Gold Neuroinclusive Venue Accreditation is a significant milestone for Hillscourt. We recognise that every guest experiences events differently, and by making thoughtful adjustments we can create an environment where everyone feels comfortable, valued and able to fully participate. This accreditation reflects our commitment to inclusive hospitality and accessibility throughout the guest experience.”

To support the accreditation, practical guidance has been introduced across all departments, including reception, conference operations, food and beverage, and duty management teams. Staff have been trained to communicate clearly, offer appropriate options and help create calm, welcoming environments.

The initiative forms part of Hillscourt’s wider commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, employee wellbeing and exceptional guest experiences, giving event organisers confidence that all delegates will be supported throughout their visit.
