On Tuesday, 21st July at 7.45pm, Hereford FC will host Worcester City in a special pre-season charity fixture at the M&M Edgar Street Stadium, with all proceeds supporting St Michael’s Hospice and St Richard’s Hospice. As Hereford FC’s first home match ahead of the 2026/27 season and the first meeting between these local rivals in more than ten years, the game is expected to attract a significant crowd.
The event promises to be a fantastic occasion for supporters while raising vital funds for two charities that provide invaluable care and support across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
To maximise fundraising opportunities, a range of sponsorship and hospitality packages are available for businesses and supporters wishing to be part of the occasion. The Hospitality Package offers a VIP experience for up to 10 guests in the Hereford Suite. Guests will enjoy a two-course meal, with a vegetarian option available, together with seating in the Merton Stand. A pay bar facility, with the option of an open tab, will be available before kick-off, at half-time and after the game. In addition, your branding will appear on the video screen within the hospitality lounge. The cost is £500 per table.
The Pitch-side Room Package provides an exclusive private hospitality lounge for up to 10 guests. The package includes a fully stocked fridge with beer, cider and soft drinks, plus an adjoining room where pizzas will be served before the match. Guests will also receive seating in the Merton Stand and can enjoy access to the lounge during half-time and after full-time. This package is available for £495.
Businesses looking to gain greater visibility can take advantage of the Match Sponsorship Package. Priced at £250, the package includes a minimum of two match tickets with the option to purchase additional tickets. The sponsor will receive a signed Hereford FC shirt after the match and will have the opportunity to present the Player of the Match award. Branding opportunities include inclusion in the printed souvenir programme, tannoy announcements during the event, exposure on the digital scoreboard at the Blackfriars Street End, and company logo placement on official team sheets.
Alternatively, the Match Ball Sponsorship Package is available for £195. This package also includes a minimum of two match tickets, with the option to purchase more. Sponsors will receive a signed match ball at the conclusion of the game alongside branding in the souvenir programme, tannoy recognition, digital scoreboard advertising, and logo placement on team sheets.
