Just over a year ago, Ben joined the team here at B Smith Packaging as an apprentice — and he’s come a long way in a short space of time. We’re delighted to say he’s now completed his Customer Service apprenticeship with a distinction, which is the highest grade possible.
Ben’s had great support along the way from HOW College and extra training provided by Hereford & Worcester Chamber of Commerce, alongside plenty of hands-on experience with the team here at BSP — and it’s been fantastic to see how much he’s developed over the last year.
Since joining us, Ben has taken on all sorts of new challenges with real enthusiasm. He’s made our social media and sales activity his own, become a confident and friendly voice on the phones, and built strong relationships with both customers and suppliers. He’s also learnt the ropes with our accounts and stock systems and gained experience working with suppliers in the UK and overseas.

An apprenticeship is a brilliant way to learn about every part of a business, and Ben has really embraced the opportunity. He’s built a strong foundation for the future here at B Smith Packaging, and we’re excited to see where his journey takes him next.
