Herefordshire and Worcestershire’s Suicide Prevention Programme has funded two free online Suicide in the Media Advice Sessions delivered by Samaritans.
Open to anyone living or working in Herefordshire or Worcestershire, the sessions will provide guidance on how to communicate about suicide responsibly, including the use of positive storytelling. You do not need to be a communications or media professional to attend.
Sessions will take place on:
- Wednesday 19 August, 11am to 12pm
- Wednesday 27 January, 11am to 12pm
Whether you work in the voluntary sector, manage social media content, or are planning a workplace suicide prevention campaign, these sessions offer valuable practical advice.
There is no limit on places available, so anyone interested is encouraged to sign up.
