Worcester-based Britannic Place Financial Management, founded by chartered financial planner Steve Perera, has had an exceptional year for awards success.
The year started with Britannic Place being recognised as a Top Rated Firm in the Top Rated Guide 2023 produced by VouchedFor, which was distributed by the Times newspaper. This is the second year in a row that they have attained this honour and they are the only firm in Worcestershire to be included. Steve also managed to be included as a Top Rated Adviser again, with a rating of 4.9 out of 5 with over 120 reviews.
Next up was the Professional Adviser Awards 2023, which were held at the Hilton London Bankside in April. Britannic Place was a Finalist in the Adviser Firm of the Year Midlands and East Anglia category but didn’t come away with the trophy.
Better outcomes were achieved in September when they finished as Runner Up and Highly Commended for The Leading Adviser Practice (up to 10 Advisers) category at the Schroders UK Platform Awards and were also Commended (3rd place) in the Retirement Adviser of the Year category at the Investment Life & Pension Moneyfacts Awards 2023.
However, the best was yet to come though, as, in October, Britannic Place was named the Micro Wealth Management Firm of the Year for the second year running at the MoneyAge Awards 2023.
In response to the awards in September and October, Steve said “To be shortlisted for any of these awards is a huge honour but to win one and to be placed in two others is absolutely amazing. This really is deserved recognition for our fantastic team.”
Finally, Britannic Place was also recognised for the first time as one of the UK’s Top 100 Financial Planning Firms by Citywire’s New Model Adviser®, a prestigious financial services publication. The Top 100 highlights the advisers who are at the cutting edge of financial advice – providing quality service to clients and demonstrating a wide range of professional qualifications with an overall commitment to the profession by demonstrating best practice.
Steve said of the Citywire recognition “The Top 100 award recognises our commitment to delivering a forward-thinking financial planning service that helps our clients achieve their long term goals, while allowing them to feel relaxed and secure about their financial future.”
