Bradey Thomas MP Q&A: Chamber Hosts Engaging Session on Local Priorities

Last week, the Chamber of Commerce hosted a highly successful session with Bradley Thomas MP for Bromsgrove and The Villages at the Heart of Worcestershire College in Bromsgrove. The event brought together business leaders, education representatives, and community stakeholders for an open and constructive discussion on key local and national priorities. Topics included investment in roads and housing, expanding apprenticeship and skills pathways, improving government efficiencies, and insights from recent Prime Minister’s Questions. Delegates also explored issues around adult social care and the implications of potential local government re-organisation, emphasising the need for collaboration and innovation across sectors.

Following the discussion, guests enjoyed a guided tour of the College’s outstanding teaching facilities, including the impressive TV studios, state-of-the-art car maintenance workshops, and areas dedicated to building and construction disciplines. The visit concluded with delicious cakes and refreshments prepared by the College’s talented catering students. The session was both engaging and inspiring, highlighting the strong partnership between education, business, and government in supporting the region’s future prosperity.
