The Courtyard’s Legendary Pantomime Returns this Christmas with Sleeping Beauty

Following rave reviews of 2023’s smash-hit, Dick Whittington, The Courtyard’s award-winning, professional Christmas pantomime is back with Sleeping Beauty.

Audiences will be transported into a fairy-tale world of magical mayhem and an enchanted slumber that only true love can remedy.

Sleeping Beauty will feature all the classic panto shenanigans live on stage, and will be jam-packed with jokes, pantomime traditions, and plenty of audience participation.

As part of The Courtyard’s commitment to accessibility and inclusivity there will be a Relaxed Performance, suitable for individuals with autism spectrum conditions, learning difficulties, sensory and communication difficulties, or living with Dementia on Friday 20 December at 1pm.
The Courtyard Audio Description Association (CADA) will be audio describing a performance on Saturday 14 December at 2pm and a British Sign Language signed performance will take place on Sunday 15 December at 5pm.
Those looking for some grown-up fun can enjoy one of the Sleeping Beauty Adult Nights (Saturday 7 December, Friday 13 December, Friday 20 December, Friday 27 December, Friday 3 January at 8pm). These special late-night performances provide a memorable night of innuendo and adult humour and are strictly for over 18s. Those wanting to keep the vibe alive can stay after the curtain falls on Adult Nights for a free after party in The Courtyard Café Bar with live music, DJs and dancing.
Audiences can expect plenty of familiar references and Herefordshire based jokes, as well as the return of previous favourite panto performers Andrew Franklin, Dion Davies and Madi MacMahon.
Sleeping Beauty is the complete Pantomime experience with musical numbers, a sensational live band, stunning sets, and a wicked spell or two.
